Prophylaxis course in Stockholm
To give birth and to support
Giving birth is a physically and psychologically transformative experience. With preparation and practical tools, it's easier to meet the intensity.
As a birth partner, it's also common to feel anxious about not being enough or not knowing what to do to truly support and facilitate for the birthing person.
In that case, it can be comforting to get practical tools and the opportunity to practice together before the time comes.
A misconception is that "profylax" ( Lamaze/birth preparation) means a certain way of breathing, but the word "profylax" means preparation for something.
Our course is a birth preparation course that borrows the best from a variety of different methods and techniques based on our experience as doulas regarding what works.
